This was an experiment in using colored pencils because I suddenly realized it had been about three years since I'd last used 'em. Had an old concept sketchie laying around from my college days I re-drew and POOF... insta-artage. Ignoring the bad line art all-together [arms, hands, feet], the coloring work is almost back to where I need to be... just need to practice a bit more.

"From behind closed eyelids he rose, towering above all the world. Lord of Shadows, and Bringer of the Storm." Actually did this back in August of 2006, but I still like the concept a lot. Still working on the plot that surrounds this character... once a fairly peaceful dragon, he has become a purely destructive elemental. [Also yes, sorry, this is a repost. Just doing a quick cleanup of my gallery.]

Silver Wolf Scratchboard by Silvertaine

An older piece [2005] done for an assignment in my Illustration 2 class. However, it's the last time I remember working with scratchboard and I've been pondering doing another... something soon. Hrm. Anyways, this is in the Sketchies dir cause, while I did create the piece, we were given a photo reference from somewhere so I can't claim whole ownership... but I still like how it turned out so here it goes.
